“Joy Hermalyn sang with a rich mezzo-soprano tone and good comic sense to Madelon, Gripon's conspiratorial servant.”
The New York Times
"Joy Hermalyn gives a star performance, taking the stage and chewing the scenery with gusto, as a diva gone wild. WIth one phrase her voice growls in the basement and then opens to a thrilling mature soprano in the next. Her diction is impeccable and she "works" every one of her costumes…"
Stagebuddy
"Joy Hermalyn is terrific in the part of Fruma Sarah, Lazar's dead wife whom Tevye conjures in a dream. Loved the costume with the huge pearls!"
