Ms. Wiswell was pleased to recently make her international debut in Berlin, Germany, as Marcellina in Le Nozze di Figaro under the baton of Maestro Peter Leonard and the stage direction of Nina Brazier with the esteemed Berlin Opernfest. The Prickle – Smart Arts Reviews said of Ms. Wiswell in that performance: “Katherine Wiswell’s Marcellina was particularly adept at merging technical mastery with truth in storytelling. A veritable trove of young operatic talent who impressed by tackling the mammoth production head-on.”

Ms. Wiswell’s passion for the stage and dramatic vocal presence is well evidenced by the many roles she has performed including: Azucena (Il Trovatore), Grimgerde (Die Walküre), Mère Marie (Dialogues des Carmélites), Dorabella (Così fan tutte), Third Lady (Die Zauberflöte), La Principessa (Suor Angelica), Annina and Flora (La Traviata), Suzuki (Madame Butterfly), and Alisa (Lucia di Lammermoor), amongst others.

She has also been a featured soloist in Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Vivaldi’s Dixit Dominos, Mozart’s Requiem and Regina Coeli, and in Mendelssohn’s Elijah.
