Ramón Centeno

Tenor Ramon Centeno has been hailed as one of Cuba’s most celebrated singers, Mr. Centeno is an alumnus of the National Arts Training School of Music in Cuba.

Mr. Centeno has sung internationally throughout Europe and South America. In France he performed in numerous concerts with orchestra, including a series of concerts with the National Symphony Orchestra of Guatemala, led by maestro Claudio Rivero. He specializes in opera roles from the bel canto repertoire.

His list of awards is impressive and spans multiple countries. He participated in the Lyrical Singing Olympics in Bremen, Germany where he won two gold medals, first prize and four additional awards in the Lyrical Singing Competition Mariana de Gonitch, and first prize in the National Contest of Lyrical Singing Rodrigo Prats in Havana. Additional international honors include first prize and best Tenor award at the 2009 XIII INTERNATIONAL SINGING COMPETITION OF TRUJILLO, PERÚ. And best male performer of opera, in the Second International Contest of Lyrical Singing in Zamora,Spain. Mr. Centeno’s performance credits are equally impressive.
