Rosario Armas
Mezzo-Soprano

Mexican Mezzo-Soprano, Rosario Armas, is considered a “unique colorful performer” by critics in Mexico and USA. Her mastery of the upper and lower vocal ranges allows her to sing roles such as Rosina, Angelina, Sesto and Carmen.


Ms. Armas’ performances include Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro, Flora in La traviata, Dorbella in Cosi fan tutte, Orfeo in Orfeo ed Euridice, Masha from Cheryomushki and Juana from la Opera Juana in Mexico, Europe, and the United States.


Ms. Armas has also sung several Recitals at Teatro Xicotencatl, Teatro Pablo Villa
Vicencio and La Casa de Musica de Viena in Mexico as well as Teatros di Santarcangelo, Santa Agata Feltria and Novafeltria form the province of Emilia-Romagna in Italy.


Ms. Armas is the recipient of the Judith Raskin Scholarship from 2018 to 2022, the
International Advisory board Scholarship from 2021 to 2022. Mrs. Armas was awarded 1st prize in the Eisenberg-Fried Competition and 3rd place in the Ades Competition and the Encouragement award at the MONC auditions in 2020 and 2021.


Ms. Armas graduated with a Bachelor and Master degree from The Manhattan School of Music in May 2022.


Ms. Armas resides in New York City.
