Born in Pobuhske, Ukraine, Hanna Golodinskii, a Ukrainian-American Soprano, began her study of music, piano and voice at age of 6 with Olga Kaprova at Pobuhske Music School. She participated in numerous vocal competitions and was the soloist of the vocal ensemble “Smile” at age of 10. At age 15 Hanna became a student of Ukraine’s Kirovohrad State Music College where she studied voice with Opera Singer Irina Gorkovez. Ms. Golodinskii won the “Kirovograd State Young Vocalists Competition” at the age of 16. Hanna was subsequently sent to train with Ukrainian opera stars, Professors Diana Petrynenko and Ivan Palivoda in Kyiv, Ukraine.

After graduating from college, Hanna became a student of Opera Star and Professor Diana Petrynenko at the prestigious Kiev Conservatory. Hanna graduated with her Master Degree as an Opera/Chamber Soloist Vocal Performer in 2004.Repertoire includes these roles: Violetta in Verdi’s “La traviata,” Margarita inGounod’s “Faust,” Tatiana in Tchaikovsky “Euvgene Onegin,” Iolanta in “Iolanta” all with the Ukrainian National Academy Opera Theater’s Youth Opera and National Opera House of Ukraine in Kyiv. She was named “The Best Tatiana of 2004”.

Since 2001, Hanna has been a soloist and participant in annual U.S.A. Music Mission tours with the Kyiv Youth Symphony Orchestra and Chorus (Matthew McMurrin, conductor) and Kyiv Symphony Orchestra and Chorus (Roger McMurrin, conductor). With that organization, she has performed in Mozart’s Requiem, Vivaldi’s Gloria, and Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass. Her solo in “Balulalow” from Britten’s A Ceremony of Carolscan be heard on the group’s Proclaim the Glory of God compact disc.

Since 2005, Hanna has been a regular soloist with the Russian Chamber Chorus of New York, Conductor and Music Director, Maestro Nikolai Kachanov. With RCCNY, Hanna Golodinskii performed on the stages of Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, Riverside Church in New York City and many other prestigious venues. Since 2008 Hanna Golodinskii has been a regular soloist at the First Congregational Church of Greenwich, Connecticut. Her solo performances can be regularly heard on WGCH National Radio broadcasts. Hannamade her solo Carnegie Hall debut in the program “Sunset, Night, and Sunrise” in 2008.

In 2009, Hanna performed on the legendary radio show “Prairie Home Companion” with Garrison Keillor. In 2011 Mrs. Golodinskii performed selections of Russian Classical Vocal Hits in the Carnegie Hall Concert Series. Since 2014 Hanna Golodinskii has been a Soprano Soloist with “Concertino New York Orchestra”. In spring of 2014 she made a Solo American Premier of unknown 17-18th century Alleluias Arias. In September of 2014 she performed a solo program “Jewish Baroque Music” at Historical Eldridge Museum dedicated to a Jewish History Week and High Holidays Celebration.

In 2015, Mrs. Golodinskii was invited by the Golden Key Music Festival to perform solo world premieres ofVladimir Drozdoff’s vocal compositions at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall and at Liederkranz Foundation. In August of 2015, she was named a Golden Key Artist, a title accorded only to honored guests and laureates of the Festival and Ms. Golodinskii is one of two Artists in Residence with The Drozdoff Society.
